Editing a piece, I chanced upon a loop which was very suggestive and compelling - instantly setting a mood.

Perhaps it was a PBS feature on Poe that brought this piece to fruition. His life seemed to be shadowed by misfortune; sometimes of his own making.

In the summer, I enjoy evening strolls and letting my mind wander. Walking past my former homes, thinking of all the people that have passed, brought up some unexpected memories and emotions.

No matter how much we would like to go back and revisit, we cannot.
I suppose that's a bit of Poe talking at the end.
